Gedelec Ltd has delivered industrial electrical and control design since 2020, drawing on more than forty years of experience across nuclear, defence, aerospace and industrial automation: from LV distribution and control panels to protection, earthing, cable and load sizing, schematics and design verification.

The Prototype Studio brings AI into that workflow without handing it the engineering. A language model reads messy specifications and drafts structure; deterministic, version-controlled tools perform the calculations and build candidate bills of materials; evidence informs the choices; and every value stays traceable to its source, assumption or module. AI extracts, versioned modules calculate, evidence informs; engineers decide, reviewing and issuing under their own process. Independent Gedelec review is available as an optional service.

The result is preliminary design turned around in minutes instead of days, with the judgement, traceability and accountability that regulated engineering requires.
