How Engineering Credits work
An Engineering Credit is consumed only when Gedelec performs new AI-assisted analysis or generation for you.
A single customer operation may involve several internal AI calls. You are never charged per internal call: you are charged for the operation you asked for.
Editing a project, running a deterministic recalculation, comparing scenarios, reopening a saved project and exporting records you have already generated do not consume Engineering Credits.

You stay in control of usage
Engineering Credits are not being metered yet. These are the usage controls Gedelec commits to before any allowance is enforced or charged.
- The credit cost of an operation is shown before you run it.
- Your remaining credit balance is shown while you work.
- No silent overage: an operation you cannot afford is refused, not billed.
- Monthly allowances are limits, not starting points (planned).
- Warning thresholds as an allowance runs low (planned).
- A history of operations and the credits they used (planned).
- Deterministic recalculation and exports of existing records are never charged.
Enterprise
Larger teams can agree a contracted usage allowance instead of a monthly plan, with commercial terms based on the scale of use.
